KAMPALA, Uganda — Technology experts are urging Uganda to learn from the United Kingdom’s approach to artificial intelligence, as the East African nation seeks to position itself in the global digital economy.
During a recent technology summit, speakers highlighted how the UK has leveraged AI to boost productivity and create new job opportunities, suggesting Uganda could adopt similar strategies.
“The AI revolution is here, and Uganda cannot afford to be left behind,” said one presenter. “We need policies that encourage innovation while protecting our workforce.”
