Nile Breweries Limited (NBL) has appointed Nkanyiso Mncwabe as its new Managing Director, effective January 1, 2026, as the company eyes expansion in East African markets.
The appointment signals a new strategic direction for Uganda’s leading brewery, which has dominated the local market for decades and is now looking to strengthen its regional presence.
Regional Expansion
Under Mncwabe’s leadership, NBL is expected to pursue aggressive expansion strategies across neighboring countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
