KAMPALA, Uganda — Kampala International University (KIU) has announced ambitious plans to break into Africa’s top 10 universities list within the next five years.
The private university, which has grown rapidly since its founding, is investing heavily in research facilities and international partnerships to boost its academic standing.
“We are already ranked among the top 100 in Africa,” said the university vice-chancellor. “Our goal is to be in the top 10 by 2030.”
