JUBA, South Sudan — Youth activists have launched a campaign urging young South Sudanese to remain in the country rather than seeking opportunities abroad.
The “Stay in the Country” initiative aims to highlight development opportunities and encourage youth participation in nation-building. Organizers say brain drain has severely impacted the country’s development.
“We need our young people here to build our nation,” said one activist. “The future of South Sudan depends on them.”
