Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has rubbished claims that he has been demanding government positions in exchange for dropping the opposition’s Linda Mwananchi tours and supporting the broad-based political deal.
Speaking during a rally, the ODM Deputy Party Leader dismissed the allegations as baseless propaganda aimed at derailing the opposition’s efforts to hold the government accountable.
Political Landscape
The claims come amid growing speculation about opposition figures potentially joining the government following the broad-based political agreement between President Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Sifuna maintained that the opposition remains committed to its oversight role and will continue with the Linda Mwananchi tours across the country to address citizen concerns.
